CINE FILM

Cine Film

We are currently producing four types of colour film and two of black and white film. Only new film purchased direct from the Eastman Kodak Company and Filmotec is rolled into 35mm cassettes. The film is rolled by machine directly from 1000 foot reels and finished with a machine cut leader, just as the major film manufacturers do.

The cassettes we use are recyclable when a Flic Pic is used to open them for processing. They can be reused for bulk rolling at home. Packaging is in a transparent canister that looks good on the shelf and reduces the packaging normally associated with film products.

Vision3 500T

Developer: ECN-2. (Can be developed with C-41 but the film has a Remjet layer that must be removed with an ECN-2 Prebath before use with C-41 chemicals.)

VISION3 500T is a high-speed, tungsten-balanced movie film characterized by a fine grain structure, broad dynamic range, and the flexible nominal sensitivity of a 500-speed index. It has a wide exposure latitude with exceptional highlight control for working in a variety of lighting conditions, ranging from high-contrast outdoor lighting to mixed interior light situations. Advanced Dye Layering Technology (DLT) is also used to reduce the appearance of grain in the shadows for cleaner detailing and clarity. As part of the VISION3 series of movie films, this stock has high archival stability and is well suited to digital post-production processes.

Vision3 200T

Developer: ECN-2. (Can be deveoped with C-41 but the film has a Remjet layer that must be removed with an ECN-2 Prebath before use with C-41 chemicals.)

VISION3 200T is a medium-speed tungsten-balanced color negative movie film characterized by the fine grain structure of a 100-speed film with the flexible nominal sensitivity of a 200-speed index. It has a wide exposure latitude with exceptional highlight control for working in a variety of lighting conditions, ranging from high contrast outdoor lighting to mixed interior light situations. As part of the VISION3 series of movie films, this stock has high archival stability and is well-suited to digital post-production processes.

Vision3 250D

Developer: ECN-2. (Can be deveoped with C-41 but the film has a Remjet layer that must be removed with an ECN-2 Prebath before use with C-41 chemicals.)

VISION3 250D is a medium-speed, daylight-balanced movie film characterized by a fine grain structure, broad dynamic range, and the flexible nominal sensitivity of a 250-speed index. It has a wide exposure latitude with exceptional highlight control for working in a variety of lighting conditions and also maintains accurate notably color reproduction with vivid skin tones. Advanced Dye Layering Technology (DLT) is also used to reduce the appearance of grain in the shadows for cleaner detailing and clarity when working in low-light. As part of the VISION3 series of movie films, this stock has high archival stability and is well suited to digital post-production processes.

Vision3 50D

Developer: ECN-2. (Can be deveoped with C-41 but the film has a Remjet layer that must be removed with an ECN-2 Prebath before use with C-41 chemicals.)

VISION3 50D is a low-speed daylight-balanced color negative movie film characterized by its ability to record a wide dynamic range with increased highlight sensitivity. It has an exposure index of 50 when shot in daylight conditions and its fine grain structure contributes to notably high image sharpness. As part of the VISION3 series of movie films, this stock has high archival stability and is well-suited to digital post-production processes.

It has a nominal sensitivity of 250 in daylight conditions and 200 under tungsten lighting, and it provides very high sharpness, a broad tonal range, and a fine grain structure.

Wolfen 100

A cinema film reminiscent of Kodak’s Plus-X Pan 100, this 35mm black and white fim is rolled from Orwo 54 reels, produced by the legendary East German company Filmotec.
